NOTE :For coatings to perform satisfactorily, they must adhere to the substrates on which they are applied. It is the responsibility of the painting sub contractor to carry out an adhesion test prior to commencing works and ensure the surface is acceptable. In testing and accepting the surface the sub-contractor accepts full liability for any adhesion issues. Information on the methods for testing paint adhesion can be found in Attachments Australian Standard AS/NZS 1580.408 Pt. 2, 4 or 5 "Paints and Related Materials - Method of Test – Adhesion"

Further, pursuant to Clause 31 of Schedule 5 of the Period Subcontract Agreement, if the Subcontractor commences any works the subject of a Purchase Order issued by Surepaint after the Subcontractor has received a copy of the Period Subcontract Agreement, the Subcontractor is deemed to have accepted and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Period Subcontract Agreement whether or not the Subcontractor has signed and returned to Surepaint Schedule 6 of the Period Subcontract Agreement.

All invoices are to be submitted each Thursday by 12 am for review and payment 15 days later.

The Subcontractor should note its obligations under Clause 4.3 of Schedule 5 of the Period Subcontract Agreement entered into between the Surepaint PTY LTD and the Subcontractor.
A Progress Claim must contain
Pursuant to clause 4.3(d) of the Period Subcontract Agreement, the Subcontractor is directed to ensure all of the following information(where relevant) is included with its Progress Claim (invoice)
All Paints/Consumable costs are to be deducted from your invoice under Clause 4.8 of the Period to agreement entered into between Surepaint Pty LTD and the Subcontractor.

Failure to provide the above information may result in all or part of the subcontractor's progress claim being declined.
